Dr. Richard W. MacAuley, a Michigan native, has practiced medicine for over 25 years. After serving as a medical corpsman in the U.S. Navy, MacAuley completed a Masters of Science degree in Neurophysiology, and a Doctorate of Medicine from the Medical University of South Carolina. He has specialized in sleep medicine since 1994. Dr. MacAuley is the founding physician of Sleep Diagnostics of Michigan and has dedicated himself to the care of individuals with sleep disorders.
Interesting fact: Dr. MacAuley is an active dog musher, with over 30 of his own dogs competing every year.

Dr. Alice Stroe is Board Certified through the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) in Sleep Medicine and Internal Medicine. She received her Medical Degree from the Universitatea de Medicina "Carol Davila", in Bucharest, Romania. Since then, she completed a Sleep Medicine Fellowship and an Internal Medicine Residency at Henry Ford Health System in Detroit, Michigan. She further refined her training with a Course in Pediatric Sleep Medicine at Stanford University, California.
Her clinical interests include: Obstructive Sleep Apnea, Behavior Therapy of Insomnia, Pediatric Sleep and Fibromyalgia and Sleep. Dr. Stroe’s research and publications include sleepiness and medical disorders.
Dr. Stroe serves as the Medical Director of Sleep Diagnostics of Michigan.
Interesting fact: Dr. Stroe is fluent in Romanian, French and Spanish.
